Marquette Neighborhood Scholarship

The Marquette Neighborhood Association is proud to be able to offer 2021 educational scholarships. MNA awards scholarships to students graduating from high school or its equivalent. We fund two 2-year scholarships ($1,000 per year) for post-secondary education.

One scholarship will be selected by East High School and designated for a student of color. Please apply through East’s scholarship process.

A second scholarship will be selected by an MNA committee and is designated for students with significant ties to the Marquette Neighborhood. “Significant ties” may include having lived, worked, volunteered, attended school or participated in community programming in the Marquette Neighborhood.

Preference will be given to students who live in the Marquette Neighborhood and who have volunteered in the neighborhood or demonstrated a significant degree of community engagement. Students (or their parents) do not need to be members of MNA in order to apply.
